CASS is an independent artist/producer based in Wellington, New Zealand.
Originally from Zimbabwe, her family migrated to New Zealand when she was young. In her later years, she started as a producer and songwriter for her church whilst studying a Batchelor of Music at the NZSM. She graduated in 2015, and the following year she started studying at her church’s ministry school. At the end of 2016 she felt God call her to the music industry. She then wrote, produced and mixed (in her bedroom) her debut album GENESIS, which came out early 2017. This album earned a #1 R&B chart placing in New Zealand and received critical acclaim plus other award nominations, reaching all four corners of the world. She then embarked on her first tours, in the UK and the US end of 2017. She kicked off 2018 by releasing singles; “Don’t Look Down”, “Silhouettes”, “Do You”, and “Tomorrow Will Come.” Then she was a feature on the highly anticipated 116 anthem – “Light Work” which featured hip hop heavyweights – Lecrae, Andy Mineo and Tedashii to name a few. She finished of 2018 by releasing her sophomore album “Not For Sale“, which featured the single with the same name “Not For Sale” and it was #1 on the NZ R&B Charts.
Her full discography of other albums and singles she has featured on, written, produced etc for her church and other artists is find HERE.
Currently her own music has over 30 million streams across all music platforms. Something she views as a miracle in motion and is humbled to see God open incredible doors and bless what He called her to. She is passionate about sharing her story and inspiring others to step into what God has for them. Whether that’s through music, performing or speaking — she wants to reach those who don’t know God and to empower those who do know God.
She’s currently working on her 3rd studio album.
